Light Up the Night on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. (MST)!

After a year of hard work, the little boy in Brandon started to shine through. He became attached to staff and named all of his stuffed animals 'Chris' after his favorite clinician. Brandon's speech had improved significantly and he was showing appropriate social skills - he was ready for the next step in his journey: a home.

Darkness shouldn't define a life. Your care and support casts a new, hopeful light on the life stories of kids and families emerging from neglect and abuse.

Light Up the Night, this year's virtual Denver Dinner, is a reminder that light and life prevail when we come together for a greater good: the future of kids like Brandon.

Registration is free of charge, and sponsorship options are available.

Tennyson Center for Children has served Colorado's most neglected, abused, and/or traumatized children since 1904. We provide a safe, stable home for kids 5-18 who are facing critical circumstances and need residential care; an accredited, therapeutic K-12 school with a 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio on our campus; and in-home and community services in 15 counties across the state to provide preventive services and therapy to strengthen families with children aged 0 to adulthood.

In 2019, we began leading a statewide effort to provide earlier support to children and families, prevent and divert families from entering child welfare, and to follow the children we interact with into adulthood.
